Bleu MacAllister is consumed. A horrific childhood incident has caused every decision in her life to revolve around bringing a monster to justice. With years spent studying The Fellowship, an organized crime brotherhood of liars, thieves, and killers, Bleu will rely on her skills as a special agent to cut Thane Breckenridge off at the knees. But walking hand in hand with retribution means risking collateral damage, in the form of Breckenridge’s son Sinclair—until Sin becomes so much more than Bleu bargained for. She’s always known this undertaking would place her life in danger—she never imagined her heart would be as well.

Thoughts

I picked this book up a while ago as it was free under Kindle Unlimited, and I was just looking for an easy read.

This follows Bleu who saw her mother killed, and is wanting revenge against the person that murdered her, so she trains with her FBI father and she heads to Scotland to try and entice his son so she can kill him.

The story intrigued me and as it was free on Kindle Unlimited, no harm no foul as they say, boy am I glad I picked this book up.

I found this so easy to read and the writing just flows so well, everything is tied together so well and how Georgia Cates knows the inner workings of Scottish Mobsters (well let's just say she can keep that a secret).
I found the plot of the story to be a bit far-fetched, but I liked that it was an escapist book, it was a couple of hours just to relax and enjoy a quick read.
I will forewarn you that this is a steamy read and there are scenes of a sexual nature within the book, but these aren't just there for the sake of being there.

I loved Bleu, I just thought she was such a strong female character that was not going to let anyone dictate to her what she was going to do and how she was going to do it.
I also found myself liking Sin, yes he was a dubious character, he had done some things, but underneath all that he was a nice guy, that really started to fall for Bleu.
