Thoughts
The story follows from where To All The Boys I've Loved Before left off and follows Lara Jean and her relationship with Peter, and we finally meet John Ambrose McLaren.I really enjoyed this book, normally with sequels, you can take them or leave them, but this one I absolutely adored. There were some angsty parts especially when Lara Jean and Peter break up over Gen, we find out Lara Jean's insecurities when it comes to her relationship. You do feel for her as everyone has insecurities when going into a new relationship whether you're a teenager or in your 30's.
I did find myself having a soft spot for John Ambrose, yes I will always be Team Peeta, but John Ambrose did come surprisingly close (and yes Netflix, PLEASE make the sequel and let's see John Ambrose in his 1940's outfit).
I found myself loving the growth of Lara Jean from the previous book, to this book. She seems to be including herself more into situations that she is not used to. I do love that even though she does grow during this book, she does still keep what is so essentially Lara Jean.
Overall such a fantastic book, and so far my favourite of the series so far.
