Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's manoeuvrings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit – and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre but for her world as well.

As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords – and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

Thoughts

This book is the finale in this section of the series (there are going to be 3 more books, but they will focus on other characters within the series).

The story focuses on Feyre and on her remaining in the Spring Court as a spy for Rhysand, and the Night Court trying to find out the King of Hybern's movements concerning the Cauldron.

I was surprised by how much I did enjoy this book, but I found myself really liking Nesta and Cassian and wanted more of them during this book.

I found that even though the book was big (720 Pages), I managed to get through it very quickly, as I just found that it flowed so well. The characters within this series are just so well written and the world building is fantastic. You really do fall in love with this world and the characters within it.

I found that this did wrap up this section of the series really well, and the twist with the downfall of the King of Hybern, and who actually delivers the killing blow.

Overall a great end to this series, and can't wait for the next books in this series.
