Thoughts
I love a quick read especially one that is just fluff (it's not going to make you think too hard while reading), sometimes you just need a break from the hard-hitting books and go for something that is just a breeze to read.I found this such an easy read and did enjoy this one, as with the books in this series they are all standalone and can be read out of order. Alexa Riley does write fluffy books quite well, and she does manage to give her characters a little bit of depth.
I loved Felicity, you feel for her when Calder argues with her after they spend the night together, you really want her to smack him around the mouth for what he implies that she is, all because of what happened between her mother and father.
With these type of books, they are predictable and you can guess what happens, but even though it was predictable it was still enjoyable.
Overall, a good novella to while away a couple of minutes.
