Goodreads Blurb

When Calder Cox sees Felicity for the first time, he has to have her. There’s nothing that will hold him back…until he finds out she’s his lawyer’s daughter.

Felicity Chandler is graduating college soon but has no idea what she wants to do. While playing her violin one night, she sees Calder and feels instantly drawn to him. But when he tries to keep his distance, she doesn’t know what to do with all of her feelings.

Calder can’t be held off much longer, and when his control snaps, there are consequences. Felicity might be trying to run, but he’ll make sure she stays…even if he has to blackmail her to do it.

Thoughts

I love a quick read especially one that is just fluff (it's not going to make you think too hard while reading), sometimes you just need a break from the hard-hitting books and go for something that is just a breeze to read.

I found this such an easy read and did enjoy this one, as with the books in this series they are all standalone and can be read out of order. Alexa Riley does write fluffy books quite well, and she does manage to give her characters a little bit of depth.

I loved Felicity, you feel for her when Calder argues with her after they spend the night together, you really want her to smack him around the mouth for what he implies that she is, all because of what happened between her mother and father.

With these type of books, they are predictable and you can guess what happens, but even though it was predictable it was still enjoyable.

Overall, a good novella to while away a couple of minutes.
