April TBR

It's time for another TBR, and seriously where is this year going.

During the month of April, I am joining in with the O.W.L's Readathon so for the 12 subjects I have chosen books that match the prompts

Ancient Runes - Retelling

  • Red Queen (#2) - Christina Henry

Arithmancy - Work written by more than one author

  • The WItch's Tears (#2) - Katharine & Elizabeth Corr

Astronomy - "Star" in the title

  • Star Struck (#2) - Jane Lovering

Care of Magical Creatures - Land animal on the cover

  • Black Beauty - Anna Sewell

Charms - Age-Line: Read an adult book

  • Whispers Underground (#2) - Ben Aaronovitch

Defence Against the Dark Arts - Reducto: Title begins with R

  • Riders (#1) - Veronica Rossi

Divination - Set in the future

  • Delirium (#1) - Lauren Oliver

Herbology - Plant on the cover

  • Roseblood - A. G. Howard

History of Magic - Published at least 10 years ago

  • The Ersatz Elevator (#6) - Lemony Snicket

Muggle Studies - Contemporary

  • On The Come Up - Angie Thomas

Potions - Next Ingredient: Sequel

  • Days of Blood and Starlight (#2) - Laini Taylor

Transfiguration - Sprayed Edges or Red Cover

  • One of us is Lying - Karen M. McManus
This year G over at Book Roast has also created a careers booklet, I am completely undecided but I have chosen the option of three careers:

  • Auror
  • Journalist/ Writer
  • Magizoologist
The next 12 books that I am going to read are:
  • Collison (#3) - Victor Dixen
  • To Kill a Kingdom - Alexandra Christo
  • Music and Malice in Hurricane Town
  • Ace of Shades (#1) - Amanda Foody
  • Restore Me (#4) - Tahereh Mafi
  • The Twisted Ones (#2) - Scott Cawthon & Kira Breed-Wrisley
  • Poor Unfortunate Soul - Serena Valentino
  • Knife Edge (#2) - Malorie Blackman
  • Nevernight (#1) - Jay Kristoff
Again I have 24 books to get through, I am going to prioritise the 12 books that are on the O.W.Ls TBR list and then attack the other 12 books.

Wish me luck
