Thoughts
I grabbed this to read during the 24in48 readathon in January, as it was a small book, but the blurb sounded quite interesting.I did enjoy this book but I did find the world building to be quite slow going as it is quite an intricate world that needs building.
I liked Ceony and Thane as a character, and I did like how these characters grow during the book, I also enjoyed Fennel, the little paper dog that Thane creates for Ceony.
Overall, a good book but be warned that the world building is slow going but worth it in the end.
