Thoughts

I found this volume to be somewhat of a harrowing volume, you have Alana and Marko dealing with the consequences of the ending of the last volume.

I  do have to make sure that there is a trigger warning for miscarriage and abortion.

I did find this volume to be such a sad entry in the series and this family is really put through the ringer especially when it comes to the situation of a miscarriage and an abortion to save Alana's life. I am glad that this was just the main family (Alana, Marko, and Hazel), that are together through this volume, as it is something you need your family around for.

I did find this volume to be lovely how the family deal with the miscarriage and you really want the outcome to be so different for them as you do come to love these characters.

Overall a hard volume to read through but worth it.
