Claire has her share of challenges. Like being a genius in a school that favours beauty over brains; homicidal girls in her dorm, and finding out that her college town is overrun with the living dead. On the up side, she has a new boyfriend with a vampire-hunting dad. But when a local fraternity throws the Dead Girls' Dance, hell is really going to break loose.

Thoughts

I found this a great follow up to Glass Houses, and dealt with the aftermath of Claire's deal with Amelie, and we also have the introduction of Shane's father and his gang who are after removing the vampires.

I again found this to be another quick read, and we also found out more back story regarding Shane, and why he came back to Morganville after he had left with his father, and the rest of his family.

I loved the relationship between Claire and Shane, and I also loved the dynamic again between all the four housemates
I will admit that I did like Monica, she is just a character that you really like to hate but sometimes she does have her moments.

Overall a really good book, especially if you are wanting a quick read, and follows the story on really well.
